The ability to calibrate the dosimeter is essential to gathering actionable data. To  calibrate the sensor, plug it into a computer using a USB cable and place the sensor in your calibration device. The software displays the dose read by the dosimeter, and this reading can be edited to the appropriate dose in order to calibrate the sensor.

In-flight Dose and Dose Rate Reading / Sensor Management


The dose and dose rate are displayed as a live measurement on the piloting application with a sampling rate of 2 seconds. A histogram from the last minute of measurement is also available with an indication of the maximum threshold.

What is included in the Elios 2 RAD package?

The Elios 2 RAD package contains everything you need to perform radiation sensing and mapping at your plant. Here is the list of items:

- Elios 2 Premium Package (see Elios 2 offering for more details)
- A Low dose-range radiation detector
- A 3-year inspector license to process, map, and your radiological data.
- A 3rd party software to calibrate the sensors
- Online training. material

How can I share the dose map with my colleagues?

Inspector 3.0 is the software used to process and map the radiological data collected with the Elios 2 RAD. Inspector 3.0 licenses are bound to the hardware. So, when sharing data with your colleagues they just need to install Inspector 3.0 on their computer and they will be able to immediately open the data and visualize it without having to install or activate any license.

Should I choose from the 3 sensors or do I get all three of them?

The Elios 2 RAD comes standard with all three detectors to make sure all of your use cases are covered. Each detector has a different range and the ability to use them interchangeably.
