Android Software Engineer Intern
start date: September - October 2021

Your role:

For this internship, you will join the life of the startup as a full team member and work on projects in line with your interests and competences. To grow our software engineering team, we are seeking an Android Software Intern who will be responsible for defining, designing, implementing, testing and supporting our tablet software applications. This application enables piloting our drone. You are familiar with terms like unit tests, integration tests, regression tests and stress tests. You know when good is “good enough” and where to take a closer look.

Your profile:

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Math or related major, and a strong record of academic achievement. You are an autonomous, self-motivated and curious individual who is not afraid of the unknown and willing to learn fast, with good knowledge in some of the following:

  • Strong object-oriented programming and design skills 
  • Software development skills in Java or Kotlin
  • Good knowledge of Android framework and best practices : UI design, MVP, and Clean architecture (SOLID principles). Knowledge of MVVM design patterns is a plus
  • Experience in embedded systems troubleshooting and debugging is a plus
  • Knowledge of software delivery quality procedures: unit / integration testing, continuous integration, test-driven development
  • A sense for good UI design and usability

  • Fluent in English; French is a plus
