Business Development Representative (100%)

 

Your role:


You will be part of the fast-growing sales team, helping account executives by generating qualified opportunities and leading targeted outbound campaigns. You will report directly to a Sales Manager and closely interact with the rest of the team to improve our go-to-market strategy in all our target segments.

Your responsibilities:

  • Hunt new accounts to generate qualified sales opportunities through cold calling and outbound activities
  • Lead per-industry market exploration efforts, incl. generating reports, to help refine the company’s sales strategy
  • Engage with potential customers at tradeshows and on-site demonstrations
  • Manage and maintain a detailed pipeline to meet the quarterly quota
  • Exchange with the sales manager to understand their needs and adapt your pitch
  • Attend relevant tradeshows and on-site demos (travel required - up to 20%)
  • Assist with logistical needs, which may include carrying objects of no more than 40 pounds

Your profile:

  • 1-3 year working experience in B2B sales, focused on hunting new accounts through cold calling or equivalent
  • Previous exposure to Oil&Gas, Energy or Industrial Inspection a strong asset
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Spanish is an asset
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills
  • Thorough, very pro-active, well organized, dynamic, open-minded and capable of working under pressure
  • Interest for technology and the startup environment
