Located in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, the new training facility has been purpose-built to replicate real-world inspection environments, enabling operators to develop practical skills required for confined space inspections before deploying it in the field. The training center complements Modern Intech’s technical consulting and support services, reinforcing its commitment to helping South Korean’s industries improve inspection safety, efficiency, and data quality.
The training combines classroom instruction with practical flight exercises using the Elios 3, allowing participants to gain experience navigating complex industrial environments, utilizing LiDAR-based stabilization and 3D mapping, conducting visual inspections, and following operational best practices. The program is designed for inspection professionals across industries including maritime, power generation, infrastructure, and oil & gas.
