One of the leading providers of RVI tools in Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei has added Flyability’s indoor drones to the list of professional inspection tools that it offers.

With the addition of the Elios 2 to its catalogue of NDT tools, the company can now offer those clients state-of-the-art remote visual sensing for internal inspections.
The Elios 2 indoor drone is safely contained within a carbon fiber cage, which gives inspectors the freedom to operate it in a variety of environments, as well as complete darkness using its LED lighting and thermal imagery.
The cage helps make the drone collision tolerant, so that it can collide and continue flying. This feature, combined with the high quality of the drone’s visual data, allows inspectors to conduct inspections remotely in tight, confined spaces that might otherwise pose a safety risk for human entry.
VISCOY leadership has expressed their excitement about leveraging the Elios 2 to help its clients remove inspectors from harm’s way by reducing their need for entering hazardous confined spaces in order to collect visual data. They are also pleased about the savings clients can realize by using the Elios 2 to significantly reduce downtimes for their internal inspections.

Along these lines, VISCOY has already developed several new use cases for the Elios 2, which include using it to conduct internal inspections of refuse chutes/shafts, false ceilings in buildings, potable water pipelines, and rainwater detention tanks.
