During ASME’s Robotics for Inspection and Maintenance Forum (September 23th - 24th), Flyability will present the Elios 2, and explain how it is becoming the standard for UAS RVI worldwide. Flyability will also be giving a live demonstration of the capabilities of its technology in a simulated mission. A perfect insight to size the opportunity drones have to offer in performing safer and cost effective inspections.

“By participating in ASME’s Robotics for Inspection and Maintenance Forum, we hope to demonstrate the capacity of our technology to perform safer remote visual inspections” says Johan Mlouka, Regional Director North America. “Our products have the unique ability to be flown Beyond Visual Line Of Sight inside of confined spaces. This feature means that there is essentially no reason to send a human in a hazardous asset before knowing exactly what work must be done.”

Flyability has been involved in ASME’s Special Working Group (SWG) on the Use of UAVs for Inspection (BPV V) since the beginning of the year to create a standard of the use of drones for Remote Visual Inspection (RVI).
