Luis’ work focuses on standards and initiatives for mobile unmanned systems. He leads the newly formed UAS for Inspection subcommittee at ASME, which will be closely considering the ways drone use can be formalized into inspection standards. In the webinar, Luis speaks about how his work is helping to formalize the use of drones as an RVI (Remote Visual Inspection) tool, and what the future of drone inspection standards might look like.

Suzanne Lemieux—API

Suzanne is the author of API’s Guide for Innovative Drone Use in Natural Gas & Oil Industry. She has led API’s efforts to expand and understand drone uses in the oil and natural gas industry since 2016. In the webinar, Suzanne addresses if and how a drone can be used as a formal inspection tool, and what we might expect to see in the future for inspection standards as they relate to the use of drones.
