Birdseye Asset Solutions Private Limited (BEAS) provides Flyability's Elios 2 in India

June 9, 2021—BEAS now provides robotic inspections of inaccessible and confined spaces to industries throughout India with the help of Flyability’s state-of-the-art Elios 2 indoor drone.

BEAS is excited to introduce the latest technology in the field of industrial inspections to its clients in India—Flyability’s Elios 2. As a pioneer in this area, BEAS aims to capture the huge potential that Indian Industries have to offer.

“India has emerged as the fastest-growing major industrial economy and is expected to be one of the top three economic powers in the world over the next 10-15 years,” says Mr. Muthukumar Udaiappan, Director of Business Development at BEAS. “The manufacturing sector of India has the potential to reach $ 1 trillion USD by 2025.”

Leadership at BEAS has expressed excitement about the potential for the Elios 2 to improve safety for internal inspections while also helping save end users money by shortening downtimes and avoiding the need for costly scaffolding.

BEAS plans to offer inspection services to Oil & Gas, Mining, Metals, Power and other major industries across India and fill the vacuum that is present in these industries, aiming to be the game-changer in confined space inspection for the entire country.

Obtaining the required approvals and licenses to sell and operate drones in India can pose a significant barrier for entry into the market. Nearly a year has been spent going through rigorous approval processes, and now BEAS is ready to lead the charge in the use of drones for collecting visual inspection data remotely throughout the country.

“The grim reality of confined space hazards need to be taken seriously,” says Mr. Muthukumar Udaiappan, Director of Business Development at BEAS. “Approximately 200 people worldwide die each year from an accident in a confined space. In addition, 57% of employers surveyed recently do not have an emergency plan for rescue from a confined space. BEAS aims to help improve safety and reduce these deaths by using the Elios 2 to conduct inspections in confined spaces throughout India.”
