The Advanced UT Training is designed for pilots and operators familiar with Elios 3 operations who have completed the UT Introductory Training. Both courses can be taken consecutively

• Understand ultrasonic waves and their propagation principles.
• Learn how the system constructs the A-scan.
• Interpret A-scans for accurate thickness measurements.

• Adjust Cygnus probe settings at the right time and in the right way.
• Conduct a full UT inspection on real industrial assets under expert supervision.
• Practice using the cockpit interface to refine A-scans, calibrate, and understand offset errors, as well as first and second peaks.
• Learn flight tips and best practices for optimized inspections.

• Gain a deeper theoretical understanding of ultrasonic testing.
• Develop practical experience in configuring and using the Cygnus probe on Elios 3.
• Build confidence in conducting full UT inspections with a drone.
