The Elios 3 Wins Major Hong Kong Construction Safety Award

Flyability is elated to announce that our partners Dronesurvey Asia and the Elios 3 have been awarded the Champion of Innovation in the 2025 Construction Robot Competition and Exhibition, taking place in Hong Kong. This award was presented to the Dronesurvey Asia team on July 31st at the Xiqu centre. 

The Construction Robot Competition and Exhibition is a prestigious event jointly organised by the Hong Kong Government Development Bureau the Construction Industry Council and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Intelligent Construction Industry Development Alliance. 

This event is an epicenter for innovation, bringing all of the best robotics related to construction into one space

The Elios 3 was the winning contender amongst strong competition from advanced construction robotic solutions from both Hong Kong companies and companies from mainland China. Over 100 teams participated with showcases of various innovative solutions that highlight the rise of robotics and AI in construction. The award confirms the Elios 3’s value as the go-to drone for confined space inspections across construction projects, from pre-construction renovation and repair work to inspecting ongoing construction and work at height. 

As the Elios 3 continues to surpass expectations and the limits of previous robotics, our team is pleased to see growing recognition of what this technology offers. As the construction and infrastructure sectors continue to pioneer modern solutions, it is clear that the Elios 3 will be part of driving exciting change.
