The Safety Award is awarded to a company, person, or product that has either set industry safety benchmarks and/or been the difference in terms of safety of life, property, and environment in an OSV operation or industry. In the case of the Elios 3 UT, the award recognizes the innovative developments the drone brings to offshore and maritime inspections. Providing remote inspection capabilities, the Elios 3 UT cuts work in confined spaces or at height for inspectors, helping keep people safe while gathering critical data.
"We are honored to have been recognized by the Offshore Support Journal at this amazing event and look forward to continuing to champion remote inspections with the Elios 3 drone and its UT payload in the offshore sector and beyond. " - Flyability spokesperson.
The award was presented during the annual Offshore Support Journal Conference, which is the world’s largest forum for vessel owners, operators, shipbuilders, charterers, and suppliers across the global OSV sector.
