Learn all you need to know about what to expect at the next User Conference hosted by Flyability.
The upcoming Flyability User Conference will take place on March 6-8, 2024 in Switzerland. We are particularly excited about hosting the event in Lausanne; the city is nestled along the shores of Lake Leman, with a view across to the Alps. It is also our home - Flyability started here out of the EPFL Robotics lab in 2014. A decade later, we are so excited to be hosting our first Europe-based edition of the User Conference so close to home. The venue for the event is the Hotel Alpha Palmiers.
The event will be split over 2 days. The agenda will be broken down into keynote presentations, networking opportunities, and panel discussions. The aim of this event is to facilitate conversations and connections between professionals using the Elios drone from around the world. There is also the opportunity to have one-to-one sessions with Flyability staff members and hear about our vision for the future of the Elios 3 and beyond. We will be using this event to make exclusive announcements and share the latest news, and attendees will be able to ask questions of the Flyability team directly.
On Thursday afternoon and Friday, attendees can choose to take part in optional training. The training will be run by our expert team on an industrial site to recreate conditions professionals will encounter when on assignment. The trainers will go over best practices for flying in confined spaces, drone maintenance, and specific payload training.
Here is a round-up from the 2023 edition of the Flyability User Conference in Denver, Colorado
Our full roster of speakers will be announced over the coming weeks, and we have stacked it full of specialists from a variety of industries.
Here are the key things to expect:
Right now we recommend booking your ticket as soon as possible before the early bird pricing ends on November 30th, 2023.
In addition, if you book your hotel room at or near the Hotel Alpha Palmiers you are more likely to secure a good price with advance reservations. The Alpha Palmiers Hotel is within walking distance from the main train station, and ideally situated to enable fast access for attendees as well as a location for people to stay at as well as attend sessions. You can fly to Geneva Airport and take a 45-minute train directly to the Lausanne main station (Lausanne Gare), or fly to Zurich and take a train to Lausanne (3 hours+ train travel).
If you have any questions about the User Conference, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team by emailing the event coordinator or your Regional Marketing Manager.
