Flyability and MFE Enterprises, Inc. announce six-part webinar series on drone inspections

Webinars in the series will highlight the benefits of drones for both indoor and outdoor inspections, whether to insource or outsource your drone program, how to manage your drone data, and more.

January 28, 2021 – Flyability is partnering with MFE Enterprises, Inc. to offer a series of six webinars focused on drone inspections in both indoor and outdoor scenarios.

2021 is the year of drone inspections. Drones are no longer a novel idea in industrial inspection scenarios—they’re now a proven tool to help inspectors improve safety and drive down costs on the job.

In a series of webinars, industry professionals from Oil & Gas, Power Generation, inspection service companies, and elsewhere will share best practices and insights accumulated over hundreds of hours using drones in the field.

“Through this webinar series we will be able to share some of the key learnings from the last five years of deploying drones instead of humans for dangerous indoor inspection jobs," says Flyability co-founder and CEO, Patrick Thévoz. "We’re excited to share the experiences of our customers who have scaled up their operations and enabled unprecedented risk reduction and savings.”

The webinar series will start at the general—benefits and use cases for drones in inspections—and then drill down into various topics of interest, covering both indoor and outdoor inspection use cases throughout.

“Although Flyability’s Elios 2 is made for indoor inspections, we know that many companies may need to use both indoor and outdoor drones to cover all their inspection needs,” says Flyability VP of Sales Alex Meldem. “That’s why we partnered with MFE Enterprises to host this webinar series. We wanted to include all aspects of drone inspections—both indoor and outdoor—so that people considering or even already using drone technology for inspections could learn more about the benefits it can provide across the board.”

The first webinar in the series will be hosted on Thursday, February 11, at 10 A.M. EST. It will cover the overall benefits of using drones in visual and other types of inspections, with specific examples of improved safety and savings that companies have realized. The webinar will also cover common use cases and applications where inspectors are using drones in the field.

Here is the webinar schedule:

“MFE Enterprises is excited to be partnering with Flyability on this webinar series to share cutting edge practices about drone inspections,” says MFE Enterprises Vice President Dylan Duke. “We are always seeking new technology to improve safety for inspection personnel while helping to reduce inspection costs. This webinar series will highlight what we’ve learned as well as showcasing real-life use cases from our clients using drones in the field.”
